Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Sullivan was born in and lived within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam Her mother, who was a former backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, young, her father got in the role of curator for The city's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family relocated to the historical landmark. The 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student She is an instructor in vocal music. Sullivan began her singing career as a contralto in the kids' choir, and then a few years later in the adult choir. Sullivan did not get familiar with secular music until beginning. "When I turned eleven years old, someone asked me to register for one of the gospel records. I wasn't going to sign up for that," she says. Then, McDonald's held a contest that was open to children living in cities. I was able to perform "Accept the Grace of God" during it's Showtime At the Apollo. And the people were very enthusiastic. She performed with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday celebration at thirteen. Sullivan, at age 15 was signed for the first time to Jive Records. She was signed to Jive Records in the year 15. She recorded an entire album. However, this album never saw release. Sullivan was then dropped on the labels. They maintained a friendship with Missy Elliott she produced some of the songs for her debut project, including the buzz single "Backstabbers" composed by Timbaland and composed by Elliott.
